The Unsold Property List is a report containing all of the postings that were posted on the Pre-Foreclosure List but did not make it to the auction steps. There are several reasons why the property could have not made it to the auction. For example the borrower could have made the payments current or the borrower filed for bankruptcy.
Approximately 40-50 percent of the postings filed each month are not processed on the day of the foreclosure auction. There could be several reasons for this, such as: the borrower filed for bankruptcy protection, the owner made good on the default payments or the property was sold prior to the auction.
The Unsold Properties Report is a searchable database format, similar to the search engine format of the Foreclosure List. Information can also be viewed in excel, pdf and label formats. Queries can be run and saved for future use.
The Unsold Property List is published on a monthly basis. Within two days of the following the auction the complete list is available online. The data from some counties is available even sooner.
